A Maplin wireless weather station with the console connected by USB to a Raspberry Pi. The Pi is running Raspian, a Debian version of Linux with the weather station code from Pywws.
Notes:
  • The console is in an unheated loft so the indoor temperature may look a bit cool over the winter
  • The wind speed seems somewhat inaccurate, underestimating gusts by at least 10mph
  • The rain gauge uses some sort of tilt mechanism and, during gales, the vibration of the mounting pole, confuses it somewhat.
