To reach the circle at Bogmore/Whitehill which is about five miles to the north as the crow flies, head for Tillyfourie, turn sharp right onto the B993 Tillyfourie/Inverurie road. A mile further on turn left at the signpost for Whitehill circle and Pitfichie Forest trails. ½ a mile up this road stop at a forest track and parking space on the left. Follow the track east for about a mile. Ignore all left turnings. After a few fields on your right, the track forks. Go right (uphill) and the circle is on the left 200 m ahead

Surrounded by tall pines this stone circle has only one flanker like an upended canoe, the recumbent stones and only one other of the stones remain standing but the feature of this sombre place is the well preserved ringcairn, moss-covered and intact. The internal kerb is edged with large visible slabs, giving a better impression than most, of the appearance and scale of ringcairns, destroyed in many other stone circles
